I'm Jason Spirko – a homebrewer who takes the science seriously.

While most homebrewers eyeball their ingredients and hope for the best, I measure everything. My brewery runs a 10.5 gallon Anvil Foundry, a temperature-controlled conical fermenter with a homemade glycol chiller, a Raspberry Pi automated fermentation controller, and BrewersFriend API integration for real-time batch monitoring. My local brew club makes fun of me for taking the fun out of brewing. Then they ask for another pint.
